P. albolineata is one of the parents of xPhinastema ‘California Dreaming’, Dale Martens’ spectacular hybrid. In its own right, it is an attractive and desirable small plant, well worth growing for its clear white somewhat cup-shaped flowers. Like all rhizomatous plants, P. albolineata will go dormant eventually, and then regrow from the rhizomatous root structures after a period of rest.
