The rare yellow form of Sinningia aggregata was used in this cross, with Sinningia amambayensis. The latter is relatively recently introduced to cultivation, and forms a nice rounded plant; it’s not very floriferous, but the red flowers show up very well against the bright green foliage.

This hybrid shows some of that character, although with more flowers. It’s possible that an F2 generation would produce some nice plants with yellow flowers.
