As can be seen above, S. glandulosissimus produces attractive flowers in a nice shade of blue or bluish purple. Some cameras will render the color differently than others. The species is sometimes confused with S. caulescens and S. holstii. All are shrubby herbs and can be difficult to differentiate.
Str. glandulosissimus grows in E. Central tropical Africa as a scrambling subshrub or shrub in the wet tropical biome.
