Columnea chrysotricha, C. cuspidata (both Columnea sect. Collandra), and Gasteranthus recurvatus are described from Colombia; C. sulcata (Columnea sect. Collandra) from Ecuador and Colombia; and Drymonia anisophylla from the Amazonian lowland rain forests of Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
