Streptocarpus bambuseti is one of the members of Section Carnosofilii, along with species like S. saxorum and S. stomandrus which are in broad cultivation. S. bambuseti would be a welcome addition to these.

Note the long stems visible to the upper right, as well as the tidy rosette-like appearance of the upper part of the stem with the fairly large flower. The large leaves are very reminiscent of those on many species in Section Saintpaulia.
