Streptocarpus wendlandii

This beautiful species was represented incorrectly by Curtis’s artist. According to Hilliard and Burtt (Streptocarpus; An African Plant Study, 1971), “it shows pointed corolla lobes, the upper ones coloured deeper than the lower”, different than the reality.
