Achimenes picta

This was a popular subject in the mid-1840s, with several similar representations in a variety of publications. This large-format print (note the fold lines — folding allowed for much larger images than the standard 9″ x 6″) is a very good representation of the patterned leaves, as well as of the red and yellow spotted flowers.
