Alloplectus concolor

Note that there is something going on with the paint in this print. Patches have turned a grayish color, perhaps a function of the original paint color oxidizing. In some cases, a glossy coating, perhaps gum arabic, has been applied to give a shiny appearance of depth, and the gray patches appear a different color under that coating.

An earlier print by Van Houtte, under the name Alloplectus pinelianus provides a nice alternate perspective on the species.
