Hand-colored engraving of Sinningia speciosa published in 1831 by T.F.L. Nees von Esenbeck and W. Sinning in Sammlung Schönblühender Gewächse für Blumen und Gartenfreunde. This might be the only classical print of S. speciosa that actually shows the tuber.
