C. ‘Maarsen’s Flame’ is a variegated sport of C. ‘Stavanger’. The Columnea Register suggests that the names ‘Broget Stavanger’ and ‘Tricolor’ may be synonyms, and if so ‘Broget Stavanger’ is the “correct” name, having been formally registered, and in use prior to the others.
