Also known as Trichantha anisophylla and Columnea warscewicziana. The beautiful yellow or white berries may be this species’ most desirable attribute. The species name comes from the dramatic difference in size of the members of each leaf pair, resulting in the leaves appearing to be alternate. In some places the smaller leaf may disappear entirely. This phenomenon is referred to as anisophylly.
