There is some uncertainty about this species although from the photo, it appears to be identical to the collection identified as E. cupreata ‘Manaus’. On the Brazil Plants website, it is reported to be common in Brazil (although not apparently in cultivation outside that country). Front and side closeups of the flower illustrate the beauty of the large rich pink flowers.
