E. ‘Moss Agate’ has always been one of my favorite Episcia cultivars. It is a robust grower and can form very large baskets. The green leaves lightly filigreed with silver veining provide the perfect backdrop for the large and brilliantly red flowers. This small (single crowned) specimen was shown at the AVSC national show in Toronto, May 1997. The flower color in the photo above is over-saturated, and isn’t quite so dramatic in real life.
