This photo illustrates the conditions under which Haberlea can be grown. This is the north side of a low rock wall — plants are growing in the gravelly soil at the base of the wall, and in the crevices within the wall. H. rhodopensis ‘Symonds Form’ and H. ferdinandii-coburgii are also on the site.
