This is a complex hybrid by Bill Saylor with at least four species contributing genetically. It was registered as N. ‘Lemon and Lime’ in 1989, although it has been widely distributed as N. ‘Lemon Lime’. The clear yellow color is unusual in Nematanthus, and the overall effect of the yellow with lime green leaves is very attractive.
