Exhibited at the 2024 convention show of the Gesneriad Society. This plant is about 6.5″ (16 cm) across.
This attractively variegated cultivar must be carefully maintained. The variegation does not come true from leaves, so it must be propagated through variegated offshoots. It is, as a result, not often seen. Note that the pink cast in the feature photo above may be an artifact of lighting or camera. Similarly, the specimen below from the 2026 convention show has a yellowish cast to the leaves, likely a function of the lighting or camera.
The plant was originally a spontaneous mutation from among Conrad Leighton’s plants, identified and propagated by him.
