Streptocarpus andohahelensis, like all members of Section Parasaintpaulia is restricted to Madagascar, where it grows on moist banks and damp cliff faces. The Section name derives from these species’ resemblance to relatives in Streptocarpus Section Saintpaulia, the very popular African Violet.

S. andohahelensis is a tiny plant with tiny leaves. The small white flowers may limit it’s horticultural potential, but it would certainly be nice to see it in broader cultivation.
