Kenneth Jones and Frank Davies have formed a partnership to create new streptocarpus plants, hence the combination of their first names as “Franken” before the hybrid’s name. S. ‘Franken Kerry’s Gold’ came about while trying to achieve a good red colour. The result was a very lovely peach pink with a good yellow throat which holds its colour very well.
