Streptocarpus hirticapsa is from Zimbabwe where it grows in narrow rock clefts on the eastern mountains in higher elevations in the Chimanimani and Nyanga Mountains on the eastern border of Zimbabwe to Mozambique. It forms part of a group of miniature Streptocarpus once thought to have potential for hybrids of miniature Streptocarpus. However, it is not so easy to cultivate but is a stunning little plant!
