Dale Martens has an active and productive Streptocarpus hybridizing program (e.g. ‘Texas Hot Chili’), and this advanced hybrid involving ‘Al’s Pal’, ‘Double Raspberry Parfait’ and ‘Blue Mars’ is one of the more interesting results. While some people do not find corolla doubling on Streptocarpus attractive, others are fascinated. It seems clear that we are on the path to fully double blossoms.
