Named by the hybridizer, Julie Mavity-Hudson, after her late sister.

Str. ‘Julie’s Sister Cleta’ has beautiful flowers with a light pink band around the perimeter, similar to the pattern on the classic hybrid Streptocarus ‘Roulette Cherry’. Note, however, the occasional flashes of colored lines and yellow in the throat, which do not seem to ever appear in Str.‘Roulette Cherry’.

The plant shown has not been well-grown (note the ugly leaves), but still has produced beautiful flowers.
