Lampadaria rupestris is a genus comprised of a single species. It is endemic to Guyana, and is found in tropical rain forests, often on mossy rocks.
The species was found (after much searching) during a 2014 expedition by Guyana by Dr. J. L. Clark and colleagues. A colorful description of the expedition, along with photographs of the people involved and the plants identified, can be seen in our Library.
