Paradrymonia vivianensis R. Rojas & MM Mora (Gesneriaceae), a new species discovered in the Chambirillo Sector of the Cordillera Azul National Park, Peru, is described and illustrated . Paradrymonia vivianensis differs from other members of the genus mainly by its leaves with elliptic to obovate blades, purplish-green above and uniformly purplish below, with a subcordate and slightly asymmetrical base, crenate margin, and median vein and leaves. secondary veins contrastingly yellowish-green on upper surface.
