Two species of Besleria (Gesnenaceae) are described from the state of Amazonas in southeastern Venezuela. Bcslcria neblinae and B. yatuana are related to B. gibbosa in section Neobeskna subsection Axillares from which they differ mainly by their leaves strongly unequal in a pair.
