New Gesneriaceae from Sao Paulo, Brazil

In the course of preparing a treatment of the Gesneriaceae for a flora of the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, two new species of genus Codonanthe (Mart.) Hanst., C. cordifolia Chautems and C. venosa Chautems, along with a new species and a new name of the genus Sinningia Nees, S. hatschbachii (Chautems) and S. areneoso Chautems, are presented. A plate of Sinningia insularis (Hoehne) Chautems is also published for the first time. A key to the species of Codonanthe in the Brazilian coastal rainforest is provided.
