Abstract

A new species is described and illustrated from the Pacific slope of the Cordillera Occidental in the western Andes of Colombia. Paradrymonia apicaudata (Gesneriaceae: Episcieae) is distinguished from other species in the genus by the combination of spathulate leaf blades with a caudate apex, linear calyx lobes, and salverform white corollas.
