Following previous accounts on the revision of the genus Sinningia (Chautems, 1990; 1991, 1993), three new species and two new combinations are provided. These results are based on more herbarium and fieldwork in Brazil.
The new species are Sinningia carangolensis, S. iarae and S. mauroana. The new combinations are S. micans and S. striata.
