Achimenes argyrostigma

An interesting rhizomatous species, Gloxinia erinoides as it is now known is closely related to Gloxinia perennis, a much larger plant.  The two species share a racemiferous flowering habit.

This is a nicely executed print, with interesting and accurate detail visible in the enlarged views. Note at the base of the inflorescences the emerging new flower stalks, the excellent accurate detail on the flowers and the spotted leaf surfaces.
