Gesneria stricta

Now Sinningia elatior.  Note the long flowering raceme — it is cut for the illustration, in order to show both the flowers and the top-most leaves.  S. elatior is very widely distributed, from Colombia through Peru and Brazil to Argentina — most of South America, in fact.
