To me the genus Streptocarpus still remains the most charming of the Gesneriaceae. The large variety of natural species make the genus very attractive to the collector and the relative ease of cultivation make the genus attractive to the hobbyist. Very much can still be achieved by hybridization of natural species and if I may state it again, the importance of conservation of the genus in the wild cannot be emphasized enough.if there were some additional content for this chapter, that would be good.
