Kaisupeea cyanea was reported by Burtt in south-eastern Thailand in Chachoengsao province at an altitude of 250 m. It grows to about 15 cm tall. Burtt reports that it was grown for only about a year at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, before dying. He wondered if it could be an annual.
