Species of Rhynchoglossum are both exotic and beautiful. Note the interesting, dramatically asymmetrical (almost begonia-like) leaves and the brilliant blue unusually-shaped flowers. The species demonstrates extreme anisophylly; one half of each leaf pair has been eliminated entirely, leading to an alternate-leaf effect up the stem.
