This plant was grown from seed supplied by Mauro Peixoto of Sao Paolo, Brazil, with his accession number MP891. Another plant, grown from the same lot of seed, appears to be more yellow-orange than this one, although the difference might be accounted for by lighting or film factors. Lighting doesn’t account for the presence of external markings on the corolla on the other plant, though. There is clear variability within the species.
