Sinningia cardinalis ‘Redcoat’

S. cardinalis ‘Redcoat’ is a selection of the species that has calyces the same bright red color as the flower — the calyces are normally green and not divided nor so long as in ‘Redcoat’. A standard form of the species can be seen here. There are some forms that have peloric flowers.
