Mr. Steuerlein notes that exact details of the parentage of this clone, and that of his S. “Hybrid B“, have been lost. They are both complex hybrids involving Sinningia concinna and Sinningia muscicola (the parents of Mr. Steurlein’s hybrid S. ‘Li’l Georgie’). It is possible that S. bragae and S. pusilla ‘White Sprite’ were also involved.

Both of these hybrids are intermediate between what are known as “microminiature” and “miniature”. While the bulk of the parentage is from the microminiature side, the plants can become fairly substantial when grown multi-crowned. We have classified them as belonging to both categories.
