S. ‘Redcoat’ has been an interesting parent, producing Sinningia hybrids in unusual colors, with large attractive flowers. This particular hybrid was produced by P. Cummiskey. A similar plant has a tubular calyx of the same color as the corolla, producing an interesting “doubling” effect.
