This is a hybrid resulting from a cross involving different collections of Sinningia speciosa. While most of what we know as S. speciosa hybrids are of the upright peloric form often known as “Florist Gloxinias”, this plant reflects the potential of working with the different forms of the species.
It was entered in the GS2019 class for S. speciosa cultivars, A02, where it won best in class.
