Location Madagacascar: Members of this section grow in moist habitats in rainforests. The section consists of unifoliates and rosulates although in comparison with the typical unifoliate and rosulate species that are found in Section Streptocarpus, they are often glabrous (smooth), without tiny trichomes (hairs). They possess small white and mauve flowers. Together these characters indicate that they have some horticultural potential, but growing material is not available.
