One of several Nematanthus species with flowers dangling well below spreading branches, N. fritschii is one of the parents of the excellent hybrid N. ‘Stoplight’.
Other Nematanthus with a similar dangling flower habit include N. crassifolius, N. corticola and N. brasiliensis.
