Sinningia ‘Jung’s Orange Koi’ is a hybrid from Wu Jui-Jong in Taiwan. Mr. Wu has capitalized on the close relationship of two quite different-looking species, Sinningia bullata and the microminiature S. pusilla, to create a very interesting cross. In this case, S. pusilla ‘Itaoca’ was used, which has somewhat different characters than the base species.
