Registration Numbers

The African Violet Society of America (AVSA) has the franchise from the International Botanical Congress to register the cultivars of African violets.  The AVSA has a registration system for African violet species plants.  The most recent registration system was built around the Darbyshire classification system with slight modifications.  The AVSA is in the process of changing their registration numbers of the species plants to follow the classification system of Nishii et. al. 2105.
