Nematanthus hybrid

This beautiful specimen was exhibited under the name N. ‘Christmas Holly’, but the judges noted that it did not appear to be that hybrid, with flowers and calyx of somewhat different form. Beautiful, though, and awarded best in class. A





Nematanthus ‘Castanet’

Exhibited at the 2002 AGGS Convention show. N. ‘Castanet’ has large flowers dangling on short pedicels, and dramatic red-splotched leaves. A photo of a flower can be seen here.
